Understanding the word “DATING”

What is dating? To date someone means to go out with a particular person. But for some people, dating means two people is in the early stage of a relationship in a prelude to being a fully-pledged couple. But what does dating really mean? How does dating work online and off?
For most men, “Dating” is simply a word that means “romantic interactions with women”. Having said that, a man need not to “take a woman out on dates” in order to have romantic interaction with a woman. While for some this whole dating thing is a total waste of time, some people still prefer dating as a start of getting to know the other person.
There are actually various types of dating, but the most popular are the Traditional Dating and the Online Dating.
For offline dating, the night club is the number one spot to go. In there you can find lots of men and women looking to have fun and new friends. From there you can introduce yourselves among each other, talk and exchange phone numbers if things went well.
However, when you go online dating, there is more than just a hundred bunches of men and women to choose from. In there you can find thousands of profiles of men and women not only from your hometown, but from all over the world as well. With online dating, you can find dates either through chat rooms, instant messaging, forums, and any other forms.
Furthermore, when it comes to dating, offline or online, sex is one thing anyone can think of. Some men define dating as spending few hours with a female in the hopes of getting laid. With online dating, however, dating happens when two people exchanges photos and messages after several chats on instant messages or in chat rooms. Two people who are online dating also calls and texts each other and then meet each other up in real life.
Dating online and offline is fun. But safety precautions must come hand in hand with it. Whether you are dating someone for the purpose of courting, be it online or offline, we must always remember that dating is a mere way of knowing someone romantically. So if you are going out with someone just for the fun of it, it’s not actually dating then.
